  • How do we deal with guilt?

What is Alpha ?

Alpha is for:

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. People from any or no church background can join in.

Learning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time.

People meeting together. An opportunity to get to know each other and to make new friends over a meal.

Helping one another. The small group discussions give you an opportunity to discuss issues raised during the video talks.

Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too simple or too hostile.

Alpha - What It Looks Like

Alpha is a short practical introduction to the Christian faith running for ten weeks and includes an all-day Saturday session about half way through.  This is a key part of the course.

Each evening begins with a simple meal from 7.00pm and includes a video talk by Nicky Gumbel, coffee break, and an opportunity to meet in groups to discuss the talk.

Costs: The Alpha course itself is free.  A donation towards the cost of the meal each evening would be appreciated.
