Becoming a Member of St. Alban's

You may have begun to attend St. Alban's and be thinking about joining the congregation as a committed member. If so, we would like to help you think it through.

We want to help our members discover the wonderful privileges and the serious responsibilities involved in membership of a local congregation of Christ's people. We believe that responsible committed membership of a local congregation is not an optional extra for Christians, but is an essential part of the Christian life.

That is why we have produced a booklet called "Being a Member of St. Alban's".

The booklet includes some of the New Testament teaching about the church and seeks to show in practical terms how we are attempting to express this as a Christian community here at St. Alban's, and how you can become part of it. We want to help especially anyone who is considering transferring from another congregation.

Contact one of the leaders if you would like to know more.
